Traffic nightmare!

i drove around palmdale the other day and checked out a few houses. Some of the houses are nice, however the 'people' that live around those houses are pure riff-raff. It's like most have tattoos, look criminal or like they're in a gang. The target close by is full of raunchy mexicans and blacks, feels like you're going to get robbed or harrased any monent. Housing is cheaper, but the people are also cheap. You get what you pay for.

To understand the antelope valley you have to understand the city counsels have been controlled by realtors for generations. all city growth and planning is solely determined by which property the current realtors own or want to invest in. they are driven by the constant quest to increase population so they can build and sell more homes and they don't have any concerns about infrastructure. The region has and will continue to be hit the hardest by every real estate bubble. It will rise the highest and sink the lowest right after, leaving a larger impoverished, crime ridden, drug addicted population than it had before the boom. It's like wave after wave of human detritus washing up on the antelope valley's shores. And this will happen every few years. Hopeful young families are lured out by low prices and then a couple years later they are foreclosed on and their kids are in gangs. but then what do I know? I'm only 4th gen AV.

palmdale in a nutshell- blacks escaping the LA ghettos brought those ghettos with them

West Palmdale is nice

Palmdale and beautiful should not be in the same sentence

Palmdale is great if you love meth and tweeks.

California is a flyover state.

basic recommendation: film is a visual medium......illustrate what you're talking about by showing it, by shooting on location. The narration was interesting and informative, but would've been better shot on the various locations described.

They should have police officers patrolling that area as crazy as the sound, and start giving out tickets for polluting😡🤬 that is totally unacceptable. These people should keep their trash in their car until they get home to trash it. I actually keep gum, wrappers or candy, wrappers, or McDonald bag with my wrappers in my purse. God sake until I get to a trashcan to dump my stuff out when I’m out and about, I thought my kids the same thing that is nasty totally unacceptable. Police officers should start giving out tickets for polluting point-blank.

I grew up in the Antelope Valley 40 years ago. Im not suprised the battle between lancaster and palmdale still exists. Palmdale incorporated first back in the early 80's lancaster followed suit a few years later. During that time Palmdale was where the crime was, lancaster was safer. Now its debatable. One thing still stands. Eastside versus west side. Anything east of division street and the railroad tracks was considered ghetto. Seems it still is today.

Thanks What are the most common commuting patterns you see? I work remote 3-4 days a week but I recently moved up to Palmdale. I work in chino,ca and do that commute 1-2 days a week. When I drive to work I take the 138 to 15 to 60 but on the way back I take the 210 to highway 2. Just curious since it seems like an odd commute. Thanks.
